Exposition at St Agatha's

All church buildings throughout our nation are closed until further notice.  Fr John will continue to keep the Eucharistic ministry of the parish alive, saying Mass behind closed doors.  Please keep the church alive by praying and worshipping at home as far as you are able to!  Why not read the readings for the day at the time of the usual services? Sunday times are 9am at St Barnabas and 11am at St Agatha.

Also, try to keep in touch with others, especially people who are not able to access the Internet.   Fr John and Carole are very happy for people to phone them using the number at the top of the page.Keep up to date and download your own notice sheets..

If you'd like to donate to St Agatha's as a regular worshipper or a wellwisher you can donate using PayPal:

Stations of the Cross

Join with the congregation by reading the stations of the cross at 12 midday every Friday.(The liturgy can be found in a Walsingham manual or online)

 Prayers

The Bishop of Ebbsfleet recommends two prayers for you to use at home before Passiontide begins:

Almighty God,
it is you who made the heavens and the earth by your great power, and by your outstretched arm.
Nothing is beyond your power.
We turn to you in our need, to ask your protection against coronavirus which has claimed lives and affected many.
We pray for those afflicted.May they soon be restored to health.
Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Almighty and everlasting God, mercifully look upon our infirmities,
and in all our dangers and necessities stretch forth your right hand to help and defend us,
through Christ our Lord. Amen.

(Collect for the Third Sunday after Epiphany)
