Bishop of Wakefield presides at St Agatha's Day 2022

Bishop Tony Robinson, Bishop of Wakefield, and charged for the moment with the care of the Ebbsfleet parishes, was principal celebrant and preacher at the festival mass for St Agatha's day : 5th February. During mass he welcomed four children for their first holy communion. Mass was concelebrated with seven other priests. Bishop Tony preached on the importance of attending mass for the reason of spirituality first. Superb music was provided by David Lane at the organ and Frank the trumpeter. For two of the children it was their first experience at serving at the altar. We were joined by many friends of St Agatha's; for some their first visit since before the start of the pandemic. A joyful occasion.
